Delta Drawing In Machine

Arville Textiles specialize bespoke production of specification fabric woven in many fibre types, whether it be military fabrics, to the UK MoD, UK/SC, AID, DTD, MILC, DIN, ASTM D, ISO, or altermatively to customers own in-house standards.

Because of the wide range of fabric types in production at any one time, or from our archives, we can be of significant help to Defence Agencies and customers around the world as a starting point for their developments. We also manufacture reinforcements (textile) for diaphragms and seals, aviation fabrics, conveyor belting fabrics for the food industry, wet and dry filtration fabrics, as well as specialized fabrics for multipocket Glatt ® type fluid bed dryer bags.

In our manufacturing we have expertise in the use of Polyamide, Polyester, Polypropylene, Para-aramid, Meta-aramid, Modacrylic, Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP), High Performance Polyethylene (HP-PE), as well as the natural fibres cotton and linen. We process spun yarns, multifilament yarns and, where appropriate, monofilament yarns. We weave Kevlar® fabrics, Nomex® fabrics, Vectran ® fabrics, Dyneema ® fabrics and textile filter fabric.
Specifically we produce both Aero cotton and Aero linen fabrics; antistatic fabrics using conductive Nysteel and Tersteel yarns, inductive carbon containing yarns - Epitropic®, Resistat®, Beltron®; and flame retardant textiles to meet EASA CS 25 and JAR 25 standard for aerospace.

Technical coatings can be applied with synthetic rubbers (Rubber reinforced fabric) - e.g. Neoprene®, Hypalon®, Butyl, and Nitrile - as well as natural rubbers, polyurethanes, silicones, fluorocarbons and when required primers only. Our woven technical textiles can be resin impregnated, dyed to specific colours, and/or given rot proofing or oil and water repellent treatment.

Vectran® is a high-performance multifilament yarn spun from liquid crystal polymer (LCP). Vectran® is the only commercially available melt spun LCP fibre in the world. Vectran® fibre exhibits exceptional strength and rigidity. Pound for pound Vectran® fibre is five times stronger than steel and ten times stronger than aluminium. We have a variety of weave construnctions using Vectran® yarns to give fabrics ranging in weight from 45 to 500 gsm.
