Arville Coating Plant Upgrade

A programme of planned upgrades to our coating plant is nearing completion of the first stage of the project.

A million-pound investment in plant & machinery has seen Arville’s coating capabilities undergo complete modernisation with a view to developing a bespoke, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the coating and combining of high performance/high specification woven technical textiles.

The layout of the production area has been completely re-designed in line with lean manufacturing principles to create a highly efficient workflow process from beginning-to-end.

New coating heads and a vulcanising oven are in the process of being commissioned with full output expected to come on-stream in the latter half of 2015.

These changes are part of an ongoing self-investment programme throughout the Arville group of companies, with the strategic aim to position the business as a ‘best-in-class’ specialist in the design, weaving, finishing, coating and fabrication of technical textiles.
