Arville Reflects on its Biggest Techtextil Event Yet

Arville’s team of technical textiles specialists have recently returned from MesseFrankfurt after what was our busiest Techtextil show to date.

Arville were present at what is considered to be Europe’s foremost trade show for technical textiles from 9-12 May 2017.

Our stand attracted a record number of enquiries at the exhibition, from organisations across Europe including Germany, France, Italy and Turkey to name just a few. Attentions have already turned to dealing with the varied customer requirements for complex technical fabrics that emerged during the show.

We were extremely pleased with the success of the event, with it proving even more popular which demonstrates two key points:

Firstly, there is a growing market demand for specialist high quality, high-performance fabrics that push new boundaries when it comes to durability, strength, chemical/heat/flame resistance, lightweight and cost-reduction. Secondly, our customers recognise that we are well-equipped with the right expertise and knowledge to bring these technically difficult materials to life.

Enquiries on the stand covered a wide mixture of end applications ranging from protective clothing and equipment, reinforcements for rubber processing, military vehicle interior fit-outs, high pressure/temperature pharmaceutical filtration and many, many others. Some visitors had very specific weaving, coating or fabrication requirements, whereas others were delighted to discover that Arville could offer an integrated end-to-end solution across all of those manufacturing aspects.

More than 47,500 visitors from 114 countries came to the Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre from 9 to 12 May. 96% of Techtextil attendees said they were pleased with the results of their visit. The event will return again in 2019.
