Textiles For Pharmaceutical Filtration

We offer the highest level of quality and technical support possible, with full traceability right back to the individual fibre sources – a critical feature which benefits our customers operating within the pharmaceutical industry. As many pharma processes include direct product contact with the filter media surface, we carefully control the design and production of our fabrics from individual fibre selection, to weaving, finishing and end-form fabrication (where required), ensuring that we control and eliminate any issues regarding contamination
Residual spin finishes, weaving lubricants and any impurities are scoured from our fabrics with intensive finishing processes to prepare them for pharmaceutical use
Our dedicated fabrication unit follows strict quality assurance procedures throughout the make-up process to ensure that the appropriate regulatory requirements are followed in relation to clean down routines, specification tolerances and traceability. We produce many bespoke fabricated products manufactured exactly to our customers’ specific requirements
Specialist Micron Rated Fabrics

Arville fabrics are designed to be durable, hard-wearing and inert to the chemical process, giving consistency of performance throughout the life-cycle of the textile media with good cake release, clarity of filtrate and resistance to blinding
Our industry experience in designing, weaving and fabricating end-form filtration media allows us to create bespoke micron-rated fabrics designed to a specified particle size, giving customers an effective solution for their filtration and separation needs. Using monofilament, multifilament and spun yarn types we supply fabrics with permeability levels ranging from <5 to >2,000 LDIN (litres/minute/decimetre sq.)
Our specialist filtration fabrics can be woven to include carbonised filaments or stainless steel to dissipate static electricity and allow it to discharge, which is especially relevant where the filtration process presents ignition risks
FDA & food contact approved
Keeping pace with the growing complexity of regulations within the food & pharma industries we have developed a specialist range of fabrics which have been independently tested and certified to meet with either the FDA or EU migration requirements for direct food contact
Arville food grade fabrics are rigorously tested giving you peace of mind that your compliance and audit requirements for textile components are fully met within a manufacturing environment
