Filtration Fabrics

Wet Filtration Media

We have a long history of weaving specialist filtration fabrics and fabricating complex textile filter products

Our industry experience allows us to create bespoke micron-rated fabrics designed to a specified particle size, giving our customers an effective solution for their filtration and separation needs

Using monofilament, multifilament and spun yarn types we produce fabrics with permeability levels ranging from <5 to >2,000 LDIN (litres/minute/decimetre sq)

Roll stock   Fluid bed dryer bags
  Centrifuge bags     Filter bags
  Filter liners   Sheet filters/press cloths

Dry Filtration Media

Our technical expertise in designing, weaving and finishing high performance textiles means we are able to produce fabrics which are tailored to the exact requirements needed for even very difficult, complex and high performance end uses including dry powder, air and gas filtration

This capability to create technically woven filtration fabrics allows us to give our customers consistent performance levels, effective particle retention, efficient flow-rates and good cake release

Our specialist filtration fabrics can be woven to include carbonised filaments or stainless steel to dissipate static electricity and allow it to discharge, which is especially relevant where the filtration process presents ignition risks

Fabrics can be supplied as roll stock or fabricated into any manner of bespoke made-to-measure pieces including dust socks, breather socks, flexible sleeves, dust collector bags, high temperature incinerator bags, cement kiln bags & socks and many more

Spiral Link Belting

Constructed from spirally wound monofilament polyester yarn, Arville™ spiral link can be supplied as a pre-made belt or in roll form up to 3,000mm wide

Used as a means of conveying, filtering and separating products, spiral link belting can be found at work in many industrial processing plants including sewerage and waste effluent, pulp, fibreboard, ceramics and mining

With additional applications within the food industry for the processing of meat, fish and vegetables, spiral link is a versatile product that can be adapted to a wide range of end uses

Spiral link belting can be made to offer varying degrees of permeability, giving excellent drainage where volumes of material require a high liquid content removal. It offers an effective medium for the processing of fluid-laden products which require a coarse mesh structure for the separation of liquids and which, as well as being durable and hard wearing, allows for cost-effective and easy clean-down and maintenance routines
